Remember when the US used to have slavery? We still do. Along with the rest of the countries in this world. :-(
It's become a multi-billion dollar industry and every 10 minutes a women or child is trafficked into the United States. Unfortunately, it's everywhere. There are 600,000 to 800,000 men, women and children trafficked across international boarders every year. It has to stop.

Human trafficking is one of many human rights abuses that needs to stop. The only problem is, how can we stop it when no one knows about it? The solution is education! Make sure all the people you know are aware of what really happens in this world. Make sure they know their 30 human rights so that they can stand up for other's rights. #29 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights says: Our responsibilities. We have a duty to other people, and we should protect their rights and freedoms.

Humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard stated, " Human Rights must be made a fact, not an idealistic dream." Boy can I agree with that!
